The Supreme Court has reserved ruling on the competence of the appeal before the appellate court challenging the legality of the APC primaries in Rivers state.
The court had asked parties in the suit to address it on the competence of the appeal, after counsel to Ibrahim Umar, withdrew the motion seeking it to hear the matter within 60 days.
Counsel to the appellants told a 5-man panel of the apex court led by Justice Musa Datijjo that the appeal emanated from a consent judgment which was not opposed to by the respondents.
