The National Waterways Authority has said it wants to make Nigeria a regional hub in water transportation.
Managing Director of the agency, Olorunnimbe Mamora made the disclosure on the sideline of a maritime programme in Lagos. He said this is topping the priority list of the management
Mr Olorunnimbe complained that the nation’s inland waters have been neglected overtime and that its huge potentials need to be harnessed and optimized to drive a viable and safe inland water transport system in the country.
