2008 Olympic gold medalist, Ruel Ishaku has been elected by the Paralympic athletes to be their male representative on the board.
Ishaku defeated para table tennis player, Tajudeen Agunbiade by 27 votes to 25 to win a slot on the board
Ishaku won a gold medal for Nigeria at the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing and the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne
