The Court of Appeal in Abuja has adjourned the hearing of the appeal filed by the former Cross River State governor, Donald Duke challenging the judgement of an FCT High Court.

The Court declared Professor Jerry Gana, presidential candidate of the Social Democratic Party for the 2019 general election.

The panel of justices fixed the date after the appellant through his counsel effected a service of court processes on the respondents as ordered by the court.

The respondents have eight days to respond while the appellant counsel has two days to reply.

Both the contending parties, Donald Duke and the former Minister of Information, Jerry Gana, along with their supporters, were present during the court sitting.
