The Oyo State Government has carried out the demolition of illegal structures and shanties in the state.
The exercise was conducted by the Oyo State Rule of Law Enforcement Agency at a shanty located in the Sabo area, close to St. Gabriel School in Ibadan.
This move is the state government’s consistent campaign to rid Oyo of unsafe and unhealthy settlements.
Prior to the demolition, residents of the affected area had been issued notices to vacate the premises.
