City FC defeated Bussdor FC with a convincing 3-0 win on Match Day 5 of the NLO Division Series One League.
Abidemi Kayode opened the scoring in the 26th minute, tapping in a precise assist from Awara Obinna.
Obinna would now be the scorer as he doubled the lead in the 67th minute with a dazzling solo effort, dribbling past multiple defenders from the corner side before slotting the ball home.
Ozor Franklin sealed the victory for City FC with a clinical finish in the 89th minute, chipping the ball over the goalkeeper to secure a comprehensive win for Coach Sunday Bege boys.

City FC head coach, Sunday Bege, expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance.
“If you have been watching our matches from the start of the competition, you’d know we don’t have issues with scoring goals,” he said.
“Every player upfront is a goal poacher, and I believe it won’t be different in future games.”
Bege added that City FC has planned for all upcoming matches and aims to keep a clean sheet by the end of the tournament.
