The Borno Police Command says it has arrested 776 persons, suspected for allegedly being involved in Vandalism, rape, kidnapping, terrorism, and other related crimes in the state in the year 2024.
It’s another successful day for officers and men of the Borno state police command.
Police Commissioner Mohammed Yusufu is out to brief the press on the commands successes in the year 2024.
He disclosed that the achievements in crime prevention and surveillance have ensured safety with a secured environment for Borno residents in the various communities.
The command according to the commissioner has adopted strategies in combating crimes and other social vices, including coordinated operations, community engagement, and the building of the capacities of the policemen.
The Borno State Police Command has assured to bring all perpetrators to book to so as to serve as deterrent to others.
It also call on residents of Maiduguri to report all suspicious movements around them to the police, as security is a duty for all.
