The Nasrul-Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT) extends its deepest condolences to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the entire nation on the painful loss of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lt. Gen. Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja.

NASFAT President, Alhaji Ayodeji AbdulWahid AbdulRauf, joins the nation in mourning a hero whose bravery and dedication to Nigeria’s security remain unmatched.

Lt. Gen. Lagbaja exemplified the true spirit of service, facing grave challenges in the relentless fight against terrorism and banditry.

His tireless efforts led to the neutralization of countless threats, and his strategic leadership safeguarded many communities, bringing hope and stability to affected areas.

His contributions to peace and security in Nigeria will be remembered as a legacy of valor and patriotism.

NASFAT’s Chief Missioner, Imam Maroofdeen AbdulAzeez Onike, offers heartfelt prayers for Lt. Gen. Lagbaja, asking Allah (SWT) to forgive his shortcomings and grant him a place among the righteous in Jannah.

May Allah bring comfort to his grieving family, colleagues, and loved ones, giving them the strength to bear this loss.

As NASFAT stands in solidarity with President Tinubu, the Nigerian Armed Forces, and the nation, we remember Lt. Gen. Lagbaja not just as a leader but as a selfless servant of peace whose memory will continue to inspire generations.
