An Islamic Group, Aqsah Nigeria, has called on Nigerians to recognise the Israel-Palestine conflict as a humanitarian crisis, rather than a religious issue.
Director of the Organisation Rasheed Attah and other Islamic leaders who made this appeal during a press conference in Ibadan also asked African governments and world leaders to implement the International Court of Justice’s July 19, 2024 ruling, which deemed Israel’s actions in Palestinian territories unlawful.
They also advocated for sustained public awareness and mass mobilization to uphold the ICJ judgment.
