The minister of Youths Development Jamila Bio Ibrahim has appealed to Nigerian youths to shun violent protest and stand in solidarity with the Federal Government to develop the Nation.
This was disclosed during a courtesy visit by the National Youth Council of Nigeria in Abuja.
Recent economic challenges in Nigeria triggered Nation wide protest scheduled to take place on 1st of August 2024.
The main aim is for citizens to address their grievance so the Federal Government will act fast.
Leaders of National Youth Council of Nigeria are here to dialogue with the minister on behalf of Nigerian youths to ensure that the Federal Government will address their concerns.
They promised to go back to their various communities to give the assure the citizens of the Federal Government’s commitment to youth development.
The Minister on her part advised the youths not to engage in any activity that will lead to a breakdown of law and order.
The Minister appeals to Nigerians to give the administration more time to implement policies beneficial for development.
