The Ministers of Education are in a closed door meeting with the leadership of the Academic Staff Union of Universities to deliberate on ways to avert the proposed Strike by the union.
The Minister of Education, Tahir Mamman, said the meeting would provide an opportunity for both parties to deliberate on issues also affecting the university system.
ASUU wrote to the ministry, detailing a number of issues and concerns affecting the universities and the union.
