Facebook and Instagram users are currently experiencing difficulty logging on to the platform belonging to Tech Giant, Meta.
The outage which started around 4pm is said to be worldwide with users being logged out of both platform and being asked either to re-log in or change their passwords.
Others were also told that their log in session has expired.
The Technical team of META are said to be working on resolving the issue and restore services worldwide.
