Armed bandits have killed personnel of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corp in Zamfara.
The bandits attacked the NSCDC officers at Gadar Yan Anka check point in Anka Local Government area of the state Saturday Night.
The Zamfara state command of the NSCDC has confirmed the incident to TVC news, though they are yet to confirm the number of Casualties.
The Public Relations officer of the Command Ikor Oche says the command is currently gathering information from the affected local council.
He adds that normalcy has been restored in Anka as additional troops have been deployed to avert re-occurrence of the incident.
