For Nigeria to overcome its current challenges and progress as a nation, President Bola Tinubu has been advised to appoint individuals with unquestionable characters and a strong sense of moral values.
The Olugbon of Orile Igbon and deputy chairman of the Oyo State Council of Obas and Chiefs, Oba Francis Alao, gave this advice when he received he renowned Nigerian preacher, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, at his palace.
Since assuming office as Nigeria’s president on May 29, President Bola Tinubu has been proactive in addressing the country’s longstanding challenges through his Renewed Hope Mantra.
Despite initiating various economic plans to alleviate years of hardship, Nigerians remain hopeful that these policies will yield positive results someday.
In light of these economic challenges, the Olugbon of Orile Igbon has expressed concern about the impact on the people and wants President Tinubu to delegate duties to individuals of unquestionable character to effectively address and resolve the persisting issues.
The Traditional Ruler also lamented ineffectiveness of the local governments across Nigeria and called for judiciary autonomy to bring rapid development to the grassroots.
The traditional ruler earlier hosted Nigeria’s foremost cleric, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, where they engaged in discussions concerning peace in Nigeria and offered prayers for the progress of the nation.
