Minister of state for Police Affairs has ended her two day working visit to Lagos command with a promise to address welfare of officers and other infrastructural deficit.
This visit amongst others is to have a first hand information on the needs of the police officers.
Police college was her first stop
The commissioner of the college took her on a tour of the school.
After the tour, the minister promised to address her observations.
From there, she headed to the Police Training School.
Her final stop was the Lagos Police Command
The command didn’t waste time in tabling their concerns.
Responding, she said Police agenda is a Nigerian project which the government is ready to pursue.
She also addressed widows of fallen police officers.
The officers were also appreciated for the sacrifices they make in keeping the nation safe while encouraging them not to be weary.
