The management of Gateway ICT Polytechnic, Saapade has suspended physical lectures in the school premises and students have been urged to steer clear of campus for two weeks.
This was made known through a memo issued by the Acting Registrar of the institution, J.Popoola, a copy of which was made available to TVC News through the SUG president of the Institution, Alex Olatunji.
Although, normalcy has returned to the area but reasons for the decision of the management may not be unconnected to the recent protest of students over the increasing rate of armed robbery and killing of a student at Ode Remo area.
