Family of the late Toluige Babalola, alleged to have committed suicide in Edo state wants Nigerians to disregard the suicide story.

They said their sister does not have the capacity to take her own life.

In 2020, a viral video showing a little boy telling his Mummy ‘calm down’ shocked the world.

The world saw a mother who wanted to share her precious moments with her Son.

But, such a scene would never play out for the little boy nor his sister again as their mother lost her life according to reports on the 7th of November 2023.

Toluige Babalola from Ibadan in Oyo State, was born on June 9th 1984,

She got married to Babalola Lawal in 2015, and they have two two children.

In this exclusive interview with Tvcnews, her sister Olaronke Hernandez, said Tolu had so much to live for hence, couldn’t have killed herself.

She says it would be a disservice to her soul and her children if the family allows the narrative of suicide to continue.

The family is however confident that the Nigeria Police will do a thorough job.

Speaking on the investigation, the police public relations officer, Edo command, Chidi Nwabuzor says the police are determined to carry out thorough investigation into circumstances surrounding her death.

Her Sister described her as hard working, loving sister and an irreplaceable friend.

All attention is now on the Nigeria police and possibly an autopsy to help her family and loved ones finally get closure on how the mother of two died.
