The President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on the revalidation of his February 25, 2023 election victory by the Supreme Court, and described the decision as reflective of the will of the people.

Senator Akpabio in a congratulatory message to President Tinubu said the decision of the Apex court was a good relief as it finally sets the country on the path for social-political engineering that President Tinubu promised the nation.

He also urged the president not to relent in running an inclusive government and also extend an olive branch to his former rivals.

The Senate President also called on the opposition to sheath their swords and join hands with the Tinubu administration in the collective goal of making the nation great again.

The Senate President said that the National Assembly would continue to support the Bola Tinubu administration by leveraging its legislative framework to raise the level of governance to a higher pedestal.

Meanwhile, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters, Senator Abdullahi Gumel, has called on Nigerians to join hands with President Bola Tinubu in actualizing his Renewed Hope Agenda.

Senator Gumel in his congratulatory message, said as the Supreme Court judgment brings to an end all litigations regarding the presidential election, it is time to face governance fully.

The presidential aide, congratulated President Tinubu on his victory at the apex court, and called on the opposition to work with the president in ensuring that Nigeria regained its position as the giant of Africa.

He said the victory would enable the president and his appointees to concentrate fully on governance.
