Kebbi state Governor Nasiru Idris has called on the newly sworn in commissioners in the state to get down to work so as to assist his administration in moving the state forward.
Addressing the twenty six new commissioners shortly after administering the oath of office on them, the Governor says his administration is determined to transform Kebbi state through the execution of projects that have direct bearing on the lives of the people.
He said the commissioners were appointed based on their track records after due consultations with stakeholders and therefore urged them to ensure they relate with their people so as to know the needs and aspiration of the people.
He says the Kebbi state executive council this time around will be a discipline and hardworking council that come with the interest of the people at heart, which every commissioner and member of council should be ready to imbibe and work in accordance to that goal.
