Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji has launched a Technical and Capacity Building Training for Beneficiaries of the U.S. African Development Foundation (USADF) Grants in Partnership with the Ekiti State Government.
Represented by Special Adviser on Agriculture, Ebenezer Boluwade, the governor said the the primary objective of this training is to empower beneficiaries with the latest agronomic practices in cassava and rice production. To further bolster their efforts, 10 deserving cooperatives will be awarded USADF grants of 100,000 dollars each, reinforcing the state’s dedication to supporting agricultural entrepreneurs.
Addressing the participants, the Governor urged beneficiaries to seize this invaluable opportunity and employ the knowledge gained to transform their farming enterprises. He emphasized the pivotal role played by agriculture in shaping Ekiti’s economic landscape and highlighted the positive ripple effect it will have on the lives of its citizens.
Through strategic collaborations and investments in the agricultural sector, Governor Oyebanji’s administration continues to create an enabling environment for sustainable growth and prosperity.
