Kwara state governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed has called for stronger interface among security agencies in the country to guarantee swift action against crime. He said these complementary roles will reduce response time during security challenges.
Governor Ahmed stated this when he received the delegation of the defence headquarters, Abuja led by the director of operations, Air Vice Marshall Olusoji Awomodu at government house, Ilorin.
He canvassed for increase in the number of security personnel across the country to complement the efforts of the police as they are usually overwhelmed by security challenges.
