The National President of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Nigeria Cyril Ikemefuna-Ede said the body is willing to support leaders who are accountable in the management of government revenue.
Ikemefuna-Ede spoke in government house, Yenagoa where he commended the Bayelsa State Government for its policy of fiscal transparency and accountability to the people.
In his response, Deputy governor Gboribiogha restated the government’s call for citizens, corporate bodies and multinational companies to live up to their tax responsibilities.
