The Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Aladelusi says jungle justice is a ripple resultant effect of an institutional failure which is deeply rooted in injustice.
The Monarch spoke in Akure while receiving members of United Global Resolve for Peace at his palace, described jungle justice as uncivilised act, that should be condemned by all Nigerians.
The Monarch who received a frame from members of the group blamed high rate of jungle justice in the country on failure of law enforcement agents to punish criminals in line with the rule of law.
The Director of the organisation, Olaseni Shalom said no case of jungle was recorded in the state in the last one year after the group’s awareness campaign in Akure.
