The Federal Government has budgeted over 859 billion naira for the National Population Census which is scheduled to take place next year 2023, this is according to the National Population Commission (NPC).
The Commission says it is optimistic about the outcome, but would like more help to supplement the government’s efforts.

Between 2013 and 2021, the government spent more than 22 Billion Naria on all components of the census mapping exercise for the 2023 Population and Housing Census.
