The Federal Government seems to be going into full throttle to ensure that more jabs get into more arms in order to achieve its seventy percent vaccination national target.

The government launched the scales 3.0 strategy in August to accelerate integrated covid-19 vaccination and address the identified implementation gaps in ramping up coverage across the country.

The covid-19 vaccine will be available to everyone, anywhere in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), according to experts at an event, which will assist to increase the number of vaccinations.

Nigeria has so far vaccinated about twenty nine million people representing about fourteen percent of the needed number to achieve herd immunity.

Communities continue to play a crucial role in the effort to intensify the vaccination campaign, beginning at the local level.

Experts are hopeful that the launch will not only achieve the seventy percent target but it will exceed it in the FCT.
