The Department of Petroleum Resources has sealed three filling stations in Akure, the Ondo state capital for selling the product above the pump price.
The DPR officials also forced no fewer than fifteen fuel stations to sell at the approved price.
The DPR team which was led by the Controller, Adewale Useni attributed the success recorded in ensuring that filling stations sell petrol at the approved price in Ondo state, to timely information provided by members of the public.
Useni however lamented that the supply of fuel to the state has not increased considerably.
