Taraba State Police Command has confirmed the death of four persons in an early morning attack on a Tiv community by suspected Herders.
The attack came barely 12 hours after Governor Darius Ishaku raised alarm of impending attacks in some communities in the state . Consequently, he has appealed to relevant security agents to brace up to the task.
The victims have been given Mass burial as people started to desert the community for fear of further attacks.
It would be recalled tha vice president Yemi Osinbajo recently restated federal government’s determination to put an end to the farmers/herders clashes. Osinbajo is heading a ten-man committee to proffer solutions to the bloodbath.
