At least three persons have been killed in a bomb blast that rocked Madagali local government area of Adamawa State on Monday, the first day in 2018.
The explosion took place when one of the dead stepped on a bag placed by the roadside which contained the bomb.
Madagali is one of the places in Adamawa State that has been consistently hit by Boko Haram, with the terrorists burning homes in a late November attack last year.
