N-Power volunteers want scheme converted to permanent jobs

Volunteers of the N Power programme in Ondo state have urged the Nigerian
government to convert their volunteering to permanent jobs.
The N-Power Volunteer Corps is the post-tertiary engagement initiative for
Nigerians between 18 and 35 introduced by the government to engage the
youths.

The volunteers at the one year anniversary of the scheme in Akure, want
their service to be turned to permanent jobs after two years duration.

They lauded the initiative stressing that the programme has made them
useful to the society.
