The wife of the President, Aisha Buhari has officially commissioned a fifty bed capacity maternity complex within a General Hospital in Daura.
The newly constructed and fully equipped Maternity Complex is part of her Pet project ‘Future Assured’ executed by the Aisha Buhari Foundation.
TVC News Katsina Correspondent, Awwal Ibrahim reports that Aisha Buhari said the project is one of her efforts towards complementing government efforts in improving Primary health care services delivery in the County.
Speaking at the occasion, Governor Aminu Bello Masari applauded the Aisha Buhari Foundation for the Construction and Equipping of the Maternal Complex, and promised to make judicious utilisation of it.
The Federal government on its part disclosed that it would collaborate with the states to make more than nine thousand Primary health care facilities to be fully functional, nationwide
Also present at the occasion were the Governors of Zamfara, Kebbi, and that of Imo state.
Also in Daura, Aisha Buhari launched an employment programme for men and women across the three Senatorial zones in the state, and also commissioned a Primary school.
Wife of Katsina state Governor Zakiyya Aminu Masari on behalf women in the state, thanked Mrs. Aisha Buhari for her numerous health related and empowerment activities.
