National leader of All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu has said the party will continue to embrace due process in dealing with issues. Tinubu spoke with reporters after paying a visit to the leader of the Yoruba socio-cultural group, Reuben Fasoranti at his residence in Akure, the Ondo State capital.

TVC’s Ayodeji Moradeyo reports that Tinubu arrived the Akure Airport in Ondo State at around 12.40 in the afternoon.

Accompanied by another leader of the party, Chief Bisi Akande, Asiwaju Tinubu was received by the State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, his Deputy, Agboola Ajayi and top government functionaries.

The APC national leader was also received by a large crowd of party supporters from where he proceeded to the residence of the leader of Yoruba socio-cultural organisation, Reuben Fasoranti, where a meeting was held.

Hours after the meeting, the APC national leader while addressing journalists who had waited patiently for him, Tinubu said he came to visit Fasonranti as a foremost leader in the South-west
region.

Asiwaju Tinubu noted that Fasoranti is a respected Yoruba leader, who deserves so much recognition, care and support, especially in his present age.

On the plethora of political endorsements for President Muhammadu Buhari, especially by some governors ahead the 2019 general elections, Asiwaju Tinubu has this to say.

Governor Akeredolu had earlier described Tinubu’s visit as a welcome development.

It was Tinubu’s first visit to the state, after the inauguration of Governor Akeredolu in February.
