The Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris made good is decision to before the senate.
The Police boss was accompanied by his lawyer, Alex Iziyon (SAN); Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (Senate), Senator Ita Enang, Police Management Team and an officer from the public relations department.
The Senate summoned the Idris to appear before its panel to respond to allegations levelled against him by Senator Isah Misau.
The police boss had on Friday confirmed his readiness to appear before the committee.
