Governors of the Southeast and South-south regions of Nigeria have agreed to work towards a shared goal during the 2019 general elections.
They had their third joint meeting of the year in Owerri, which ended before dawn, and restated their commitment to work together.
The eleven governors of the regions started meeting in a bid to strengthen relations, and will sit down together again in late November.
At this latest meeting, they also discussed constitutional amendment, security and infrastructural development.
