The Leadership of the Nigeria Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress have called on the Federal government and Nigerian Workers to disregard the strike notice issued by the United Labour Congress.
The Labour leaders described the group as mere attention seekers, trying to blackmail the Federal government, into registering their Association as a central labour organization.
They said the Association is not registered , and can not be registered as there is already an existing Union in line with the laws.
The United Labour Congress had issued a seven day strike notice for an indefinite strike if their demands are not meet.
