Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo is confident he will be available for selection against the Indomitable Lions on Monday despite being forced off on Friday due to a hamstring strain.
The former Watford striker signaled to the bench to be substituted in the 60th minute of Nigeria’s 4-nil demolition of Cameroon.
Ighalo showed his strength and composure to wriggle free of a Cameroonian defender before opening the scoring for the Super Eagles in the 29th minute in the world cup qualifier in Uyo.
The Super Eagles will play the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon later on Monday in a return leg of the 2018 World Cup Qualifier.
