It’s a good time to give a roar as the Nigeria Senior women’s team, D’Tigress made it five wins in five games at the 2017 African Women Basketball Championships in Mali.
D’tigress are well on course for another Afrobasket title with a controlled 58 to 54 points victory over defending champions, Senegal, in their final group game in Mali on Wednesday night.
The Nigerian women ensured they finished top of group B with 10 points ahead of the Senegalese women who finished second with 9 points in group B.
Nigeria next play Ivory Coast in the quarter final on Friday.
