The Peoples Democratic Party in Osun state has apologised for the assault on the TVC News crew at the Iwo Collation centre of the Osun West Senatorial by-election yesterday.
In a statement by the chairman of the PDP in Osun state, the party said it was dismayed at the aggression on journalists only performing their duties.
TVC News Ibrahim Alege narrowly escaped lynching.
The TVC Journalist should be paid compensation for assault because he is performing is primary assignment!.
The apology is an afterthought because the party later won the election so as to serve as a future lesson to Others!.
