The Nigerian Senate has said it will embark on 2 weeks break from legislative duties from Thursday.
It adjourned plenary until July the 4th, 2017.
Reports say the recess is to commemorate the second anniversary of the 8th Assembly and the Eid-El-Fitri festival.
Muslim faithful would be celebrating the Eid on June the 25th and 26th 2017.
