FIFA president Gianni Infantino wants to look at the transfer regulations of football players and make the system transparent.
He was speaking at the FIFA Congress in Manama, Bahrain on Thursday, two days after FIFA asked Manchester United for information about Paul Pogba’s world record transfer from Juventus.
This follows leaks, from a book published in Germany this week, which show a breakdown of the fee.
The FIFA congress also confirmed the suspension of the Guatemala and Kuwait football federations.
Guatemala was suspended from international football for rejecting a proposal to extend a normalization committee imposed because of the country’s involvement in the corruption scandal that hit FIFA; while Kuwait was banned for government interference.
