The police headquarters have arrested the chairman of Ijumu local council area of Kogi state, Taofiq Isah and five others in connection with the suspected assassination attempt on Senator Dino Melaye.
The men were paraded alongside the items recovered from them which include 5 A-K47 riffles and a pistol.
On the 15th of April, Senator Melaye escaped death after some gunmen attacked him in iyala.
