The Nigerian Government has urged medical Physicians in the diaspora to contribute to improving the quality of the Nigerian health sector.

Dabiri-Erewa, who noted that Nigerians made up seventy percent of the total population of black physicians in America, called for a better synergy of medical missions into the country by Physicians in the Diaspora.
She disclosed that the Diaspora Commission bill had been passed by the National Assembly and would serve as a one stop commission of reference, when passed into law by President Muhammadu Buhari.
