At least 2,500 chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have obtained expression of interest forms for local government elections in Lagos State.
TVC News gathered that the declaration of interest in the chairmanship and councillorship polls by aspirant followed the release of guidelines by the party chairman, Otunba Oladele Ajomale.
The sale of forms is on-going at the party secretariat along ACMC Road, Ikeja.
Party officials explained that each aspirants paid N2,500 for the form, which are expected to be filled and submitted at the party offices.
Ajomale said the aspirants would be screened by screening committees at the local government areas.
He also said aggrieved aspirants may appeal against the decisions of the screening committees to screening Appeal committee set up for the ventilation of grievances.
