The presidential candidate, who was in company of his running mate Kashim Shettima, stated that the APC was committed to building a prosperous Nigeria, urged the people to vote only for the party.

He said, “we will create jobs here. We will turn our water surrounding to be greater than Miami and Florida. This state will become a wonder of tourism.”

Attributing the rising inflation and general economic downward trend as well as the fall of the naira against the US Dollars to the 16 years rule of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), Tinubu stated, “the PDP lack understanding of inflation, keeping our currency low against the Dollar. If the PDP had arrested the economy, Nigeria would have been better. We would not be experiencing what we are passing through today”.

He urged the people of Cross River to vote for him as the only transformational leader with the capacity to revamp Nigeria’s economy.

The APC national Women Leader, Dr. Betta Edu urged Cross River women and youths to vote Bola Tinubu as the only president Nigeria needs and whom Cross River would benefit from.

Similarly, the Director General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council and governor of Plateau State, Simon Along commended the people for waiting patiently to receive the candidate and supporting the state government.

He assured of a better and prosperous Cross River State once the presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu becomes Nigeria’s national leader.

The rally, which featured musical presentations of Nigerian national artiste as well as remarks from Nigerian film maestro, Zach Orji, climaxed with the presentation of flags to APC Cross River State candidate including Governor Ben Ayade as the northern senatorial district candidate and Senator Bassey Otu for governor.
