As the All Progressives Congress prepare for its national convention on Saturday, there is a free flow of traffic around the eagle square, venue of the event.
However the main entrances leading to Eagle square are barricaded with police vehicles as cars are not allowed into the area except with authorized identifications.
Decorators and party supporters are putting finishing touches on their decorations while mounting banners and paraphernalia.
