The House of Representatives on Tuesday promised to revisit the gender bills earlier rejected.
House Leader, Alhassan Ado-Doguwa, made the promise while addressing protesting women at the National Assembly.
The Speaker’s delegation appealed to the women groups to sheathed their sword and stop the daily protest.
The women agreed to suspend their daily protest to allow the two chambers fulfil their promise of revisiting the bills in the next two weeks.
