Anthony Joshua will be Britain’s highest-profile fighter when he faces Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley next month, but he is not ruling out fighting in his root country, Nigeria.
Joshua whose full name is Anthony Oluwafemi Olaseni Joshua, joined his Nigerian mother Yeta in Nigeria for six months at the age of 11.
Speaking ahead of his super heavyweight title fight with Wlidimir, the IBF champion, said his time in Nigeria taught him discipline which has shaped his career.
He last visited Nigeria 13 years ago but he is confident of having the support of his family in Lagos on April 29.
