A non governmental group championing the cause of women with disabilities, is asking the National Assembly to urgently pass the disability bill to safeguard the rights of disabled people in Nigeria.
The group made the call at a briefing in Abuja, ahead of the 2017 International Women’s Day with the theme “Be bold for change and leave no one behind”.
Cedar Seed foundation Centre for women with disability believes the prompt passage of the bill will help the cause of the disabled in the society
