Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi says it gladdens his heart to see to the actualization of his administration’s struggle for Enugu to be listed among the league of states that will enjoy oil producing status in Nigeria.

He also reinstates his assurance that his preferred successor, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, who is the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will perform better than him in office if elected.

Governor Ugwuanyi made the remark in Enugu, when he received, Master Innocent Chikelu Ugwu, a 17-year old indigene of Enugu State and student of Christ The King College, who scored 359 points to come second in the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME)

 

Governor Ugwuanyi said that Enugu’s oil producing status is one of the successes of his administration that will bring immense fortunes to the socio-economic development of the state.

He congratulated Master Ugwu for making Enugu State proud and attribute the success to massive investment his administration invested in Education, Health, infrastructure and human capital development

Master Chikelu Ugwu came second with three points behind the winner of the first position from Ekiti State who scored 362 points, in the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in the country.
