As Nigeria works towards getting out of the list of nations with high cybercrime rate, youths have been advised to explore the positive side of the Information and Communication and Technology and shun acts that could bring shame and disgrace to the nation.
Participants at the Advanced Digital Appreciation programme for tertiary institutions in Ogun State made this known while analysing the Global tracking of cyber attacks.
They noted that the situation remains a serious challenge to the country’s determination to take advantage of the enormous opportunities that internet offers and want the youth to support the government in projecting positive image of the country and engaging in legitimate online businesses.
