The endorsement of the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi, by Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, is nothing but another attempt by the Former President to create needed attention and enjoy himself.

Former Spokesman to Former Military President, General Ibrahim Babangida, Mr Kazeem Afegbua, disclosed this while speaking to Nifemi Oguntoye on This Morning on TVC News.

Mr Afegbua said the former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, seems to enjoy the attention and so he does what he feels like to generate the needed attention.

He added that it was no surprise that the Former President endorsed former Anambra State Governor, Peter Obi, as his preferred Presidential Candidate in February’s Presidential election owing to the antecedents of the Other leading candidates.

He specifically mentioned the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as someone only a fool will expect the former President Olusegun Obasanjo to support.

He described the criteria used by the former President to purportedly endorse the former Anambra State Governor as ones that leaves more unanswered questions about Mr Peter Obi’s governance of Anambra State.

According to Mr Afegbua, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, used to boast about the fact he conquered the South West States with Lagos led by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the only State unbowed in the 2003 Elections.

He disclosed that former President Obasanjo abhors anybody who looks him in the eye and tells him the truth and that he will not change his ways now.

He also commended the leadership of the Former Lagos State Governor who is now the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whom he said has shown courage, doggedness and plan to move Lagos State forward.
